God, so young...always a very sad day when a Racket member goes to that big arcade in the sky. Rest in Peace!

Damn that sucks! SnowKitty seemed like a stand up guy. I am sorry to hear about his passing.

RIP SnowKitty. I saw the thread bump last night, checked the first post, saw nothing new, and moved on. Thanks for making this thread, Kalessin. Such terrible news.

This might explain why we haven't seen him about lately. He seemed like a solid member. Shame he isn't with us any longer. I hope his family is finding ways to move on.

What the fuck? This is terrible.

I wasn't real close with him, but we did talk from time to time. He was actually one of my first two BST transactions on this forum (both conducted at the same time) which was my first ever internet transaction off eBay. Every since then we'd chat over PMs from time to time, usually about some kind of modding. I still have the chipped PS1 I got from him. He's actually a big reason how I first got into making repro carts. I was going back and forth deciding if I'd do another repro for this year's charity auction, being that I don't make them anymore, but fuck it, I'm making a Star Fox 2 cart and dedicating it to him!

I was actually just chatting with him via PM about PS1 drives, just the other day.

Does any one know how he died? The obituary linked only says that he was 24 and that he "died in his home."

This is horrible news. He was a really nice guy. I know he'll be missed around here for sure. I hope his family is doing alright.

Need FreeMCboot? I'll install it on your PS2 Memory Card for free if you cover postage both ways.

It had to have been sudden, whatever it was Ziggy. Like I say, my last PM from him was on Friday, and according to the guy I talked to it happened Sunday. He had given me no indication of being sick or that it would take a while for him to do the SATA mod or anything like that, so whatever it was it must've come on suddenly. But I certainly wasn't asking, I just told him that I knew him from an internet forum and I was mailing him payment for something and not to worry about it, then hung up with my best wishes. Because I'm not sure what the relation was of the person I was talking to, but I know that he probably didn't want to hear too much from a random guy on the internet at that point.
