.....but if I had to choose one or the other, I'd choose Mega Drive just for Sonic
The only other real killer ap that console had for my tastes was Streets of Rage, but it alone wouldn't be enough for me to buy the console

So if it didn't have Rayman Legends as an exclusive, you wouldn't have bought it? Or would you still have bought if the Wii-U only had one good game, the new Mario?RyaNtheSlayA wrote:I only require one game to push me over the tipping point, but that tipping point is more lenient if there are other games I want on the system. Of course, that burned me in the end.
If I had known that Rayman Legends was going to be dropped and pushed back to September then I probably wouldn't have bought a WiiU until later.o.pwuaioc wrote:So if it didn't have Rayman Legends as an exclusive, you wouldn't have bought it? 1 would still remain my answer, I would buy a system for 1 game and then most likely find a few more to add the list. It does not bother me since I usually go for Quality over Quantity with a dash of that games horrible but I still like it.o.pwuaioc wrote:So what about consoles that you're not buying at launch, that already has an established library and there are no more games made for it?
You all who said 1, if you could only find one game on a retro console that interested you, say e.g. the 3DO, would you still get it? 5 games for the 32X? 1 game for the Pippin? etc

You have summed up my opinion perfectly.Gamerforlife wrote:For an expensive launch system, maybe 4 or 5 games to justify the arm and an a leg I'm paying for that console. I'm assuming it goes without saying that they would have to be exclusives. Ultimately, you should buy a console for those games you can't play anywhere...which is why some people still can't justify getting a 360 with its tons of inferior PC ports. PS3 is really a smarter option in that regard
For an older console I can get for a decent price, it only takes 1 game for me to consider buying it. Granted, 1 really good game.
