Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

For me, it really depends on what game it is.

If it's an obscure gem that no one really bought or played and was printed in low numbers, yeah. If I find it sealed years later in the wild in the dollar bin that shows me how under appreciated it is. That's always a damn shame.

I prefer to be able to play my games. Albeit, I prefer my games complete, but playable nonetheless.

My only sealed game is my second copy of Gunstar Super Heroes.

I have trouble grasping the concept of having games just to look at them.

It's like the towels your mom puts up in the bathroom.

I'd always use those towels, actually...

I wouldn't really compare those since their are towels sold that are not meant to be used, just to look at. I don't believe a game has ever been sold just to sit on someones shelf and never be played.

The reason I can't fathom doing this is because a game just cost so much sealed, where an open copy will cost you about 1/10 of the price if not lower. I mean these are games, something created for the soul purpose of being played. It's really an oxymoron.

Games are to be played.

Well, my PS2 is modded now, so if I buy a new PS2 game I'll usually just keep it sealed and play a burned copy instead.
