If I may chime in, almost everyone I know is absolutely adamant that Double Dash was the moment where Mario Kart reached perfection. Me and my friends play a lot of MK, and both the N64 and Wii versions are significantly less popular in our circle than Double Dash. It's simply the nonplusultra, the peak of the series.retrosportsgamer wrote:Usually omissions like that are because there is a better version of the same game in other generations. So I guess my question would be, would you pull out your GameCube specifically to play DD? I'm interested in your opinion.
I myself do very much appreciate the fact that the Wii version has a lot of different tracks from other versions of the game.
