This sums up my feelings as well - well said.racketboy wrote:I actually like to have both. In all honesty, I have not bought a single DLC ever. I came very close with Radiant Silvergun but thankfully got me the original and didn't get the fake digital copy.
Call me old fashion
Having them look decent on my Plasma without investing in a bunch of up-scaling is great too.
But, if I can afford it (not the case yet with Radiant Silvergun), I like to own the original hard copy too. I might not play it often, but I like to have the option to play the original and to see it on my shelf. But I will play the game much more often as a downloadable.

It comes with the Saturn version as well.
My partner and I are extremely excited.

Oh Sega. Whenever I think you can do nothing but mess up, you go and do something like this. You take my heart and my money.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

This is perfect and a great idea first thing you can play the saturn version and have another method of playing if your saturn messes up. Also Most of this generation of kids are so caught up on graphics that they would not give nights a second look which is rather sad but alot of kids would play but are not collectors and dont have a saturn so this brings this beautiful game to a whole new generation so they can understand how special it is
If it sells really well it will line up a nights 3 also which some of you may not think sega can do it but i believe in them.
also sure the saturn version is beautiful and I love it just how it is but what's wrong with taking the original and polishing it up a bit. It just let the fans of the game play it in a new light plus they did great on guardian hero's

Day one buy for me.
I have it on the Saturn, but I'm always interested in these re-releases.

Sometimes I feel like the only one on the forum that thinks Nights is a poorly-controlling and uninteresting also-ran platformer. Great music, though.
I'll probably take a chance on this when it goes on sale to give it another shot, but I've just never understood the appeal of the original game...

I think it's poorly controlling on everything but the 3D controller. More than half the reason I play it is for the music and experience. Never really got sucked into the score-attack aspect of it.dsheinem wrote:Sometimes I feel like the only one on the forum that thinks Nights is a poorly-controlling and uninteresting also-ran platformer. Every time I read about Nights I think about buying it. And every time, I go watch a gameplay video and think "What in the world is going on in this game?"

It's more fun than it looks, and makes a lot more sense when you play it for yourself. It's one of those games that's a mess to watch though.DinnerX wrote:Every time I read about Nights I think about buying it. Don't play it without a 3D controller.

Yes your right it is poorly controlled on everything but the 3D controller thats why they made it for that game. In fact it came boxed with it and the whole reason the controller exist is NiGHTS Into Dreams... So other controllers don't, and shouldn't matter.RyaNtheSlayA wrote:I think it's poorly controlling on everything but the 3D controller.
