There is also one called the M3 Lite Perfect which I don't know much about: http://www.realhotstuff.com/lite-perfect-p-119.html I doubt it will do rumble and might be hackable into doing browser RAM with the R4, but holy crap, the price. That's all that I know of.

So wouldn't the EZFlash 3-in-1 be better?

Right now the only way to do everything you want is the 3-in-1, but as far as making it work with something that's not the EZ-5 that's best left to someone else who's actually done it.

Anyone? :)

Oh, so it's not for sure to work with the M3? Is that mostly because of the GBA ROM transfering?

Found this:
http://forums.maxconsole.net/showthread.php?t=59384

Looks like there is software to get it to work.
I wonder how much of a hassle it is...

I know it can be done. I'm just not sure how or how well it works.

Also it serves as a passcard for my gba needs I use the ez flash 3 in 1 and im in love with it. It serves as a rumble pack (I laugh each time it trembles) as an expansion for the browser and gba emulation. And the best of all you can buy them for $60 both.

So what do you need to do to get the 3in1 to work on non-EZ5 carts and is there anything it can't do that it can on an EZ5?

You need the 3in1 Exppack tools made by rudolph. Im using version 1.9 it already patches the game and everything. No hassle at all just easy easy easy.

Read this review today for the M3 real, and also found it being sold on somes sites with a price range similar to R4 with the GBA addon.

http://www.iso420.org/nds/m3real/index.html

And it says it has real time save for GBA which is nice and don't remember reading that before on any other flash cart, is real time save in a DS game possible with this things? Have you guys found a comparison chart or review that compares M3real with R4. I think CycloDS is out of the competition with a higher price and unavailability.

So finally some of us waiting for this one can finally decide which we'll buy. I still have to buy myself a actual DS Lite first, how bout a poll!! onyx black, white or crimson red&black?

Besides that, If I were to get a R4 this next week, what would you recommend for a single Rumble/RAM/GBA slot 2 cart that fits flushly on a DS lite that comes in White?

Well, I've found M3 Real's in stock, but they don't have a cart that is both an expansion and a rumble. You can both one of each, but then you still have to swap them back and forth. plus they only come in black.

Looks like I may still go for the R4

Looks we decided on the same. After reading about the gba cart and rumble being separate that threw me off. Got a sweet deal for a boxed white DS Lite from a friend's coworker for $100, looks like he never used it and he wanted to buy the new Gold zelda version. The R4 + EZ-flash-3in1 + 1GB-microsd was confirmed shipped a few days ago from HK, with some other DS accesories. It should take a while but hopefully I'll have everything setup before christmas.

Just to update my previous post, the R4 were out of stock so went cheap for a DSTT (top toy) for about $35 with a 1GB microsd and I'm pretty happy plays everything, came with rumble but I purchased in addition an EZ flash 3-in-1. GBA gaming is working great. The DSTT doesn't have the best menu out there but I have yet to try different skins. Games are not sorted alphabetically but they are a lot of ways of going around this. All of the other options are there like soft reset, R4 cheats, brightness and so on.
