Forget Amazon and even Monoprice. I got mine from China by looking for the cheapest BIN on Ebay. Got it for like $1.50 shipped.

Also, this review:
What's great about it: I can now understand movies that made no sense before.
What's not so great: Would like to see it in GOLD, not cheap silver
I plugged this into my flat screen HD TV when I got it home. The "HD" now stands for "HOLY Definition!" It made the movie "INCEPTION" completely CLEAR and UNDERSTANDABLE!! What OTHER product can claim THAT!?!
This is the best thing since the invention of the Flux Capacitor in 1985!! As a matter of fact, THIS CABLE may well be what leads our scientists to finally create that HOVER BOARD in the next couple of years.
Instead of Silver, I would really like to see GOLD conductors because gold costs more. I'd be willing to pay extra for that.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I believe HDMI cables, it really doesn't matter for all the extra shielding / insulation. I know analog signals degrade a lot faster and a cable with better leads and insulation result in a better picture or sound.

That being said. Monster Cable does have nice cables for analog signals; however, I've always had issues with their leads being too tight and pulling out the connectors on the back of my TV; I've had issues with the connectors being too bulky and not making a clean connection leading to loss of picture during play.

Like everyone else here said, Monoprice and Amazon are your friends. I recommend lookin for gold leads / connectors.

All of my HDMI cables are WireWorld Silver Starlight, bought them about 2 years ago. They made a noticeable difference in fine details on my 60" Pioneer KURO, when compared to the regular HDMI cables I had been using. I took a comparison pic, which is below:

As for Monster Cable, I believe there HDMI cables are inferior to WireWorld and over-rated. In regards to their analog cables, I have to say their upper-end lines are pretty damn good. I have been rolling all M1000 analog cables for a decade now and have really enjoyed them. For my Martin Logan's, I've used M1.2s for a decade as well and been very satisfied.

The "magic length" to reduce jitter, for any cable carrying digital signals is 2m, if anyone is interested.

I've always told my friends that differences in cables are only noticeable when used in a very high-end revealing setup.

I always use Bollox™ , they use extra small pixies that transport your digital data even faster .
