I still say the original GBA model has the best ergonomic design for holding, oh i so wish it had been backlit, i would use it over the Micro or SP any day.
With that said, i hate the design of the SP, stupid clamshell...

Re: Gameboy Advance
The Metroid and Castlevania games are lots of fun. There is also Minish Cap and a good number of strategy games like advance wars. Has anyone tried that Pocky and Rocky game?

It's a solid system to own, as it does play GameBoy and GB color games.

GB games should be played on the GBP for color.
Re: Gameboy Advance
GBA is awesome. I used to have a glacier GBA modded with the afterburner backlight. It was fantastic. Kind of wish I hadn't sold it, but I'm getting by emulating GBA rpgs on my phone to satisfy my needs. GBA is terrific on phones because the screen ratio matches much better than other systems that run in 4:3
Re: Gameboy Advance
Been rocking the Original GBA lately as well. It's really ghetto, but this works well for playing in poorly lit places. I also use it witht he ngpc, and reading in bed.

I wonder how that would compare to a head lamp (something I have NOT tried yet). The double light ends of that neck lamp probably do a better job.
I sometimes use this though:
It does an admiral job for your lighting needs, but makes your GBA bulky and the 3xAAA's is a little more than I'd like.
...just another lost soul...
Re: Gameboy Advance
Yeah it rests on the neck. I use it a fair bit and it works well. Having two independent lights makes it easy to maintain a consistent light source. I'm not a fan of attaching anything to the GBA. Front light mods seem to wash out the screen as well, so I consider this a very good option for me.skyknight wrote:Dang, do you wrap this around your neck to play?kingbuzzo wrote:Been rocking the Original GBA lately as well.
