So did the PS3 FINALLY get a game worth playing?

all next gen consoles are ridcioulsy over-priced except the wii.
and the wii is annoying, its a pussy toy.
haha but really they haven't had any good games for it yet.
and for one thing the gamecube controller is the best controller ever made.
xbox 360 is cool, good graphics, ugly system, good controller, but its just good
and I really can't say I've played (my friend owned one) any great 360 games
that werent on the ps3. and so far i don't care what anyone says, but the ps3 blows away the graphics of xbox 360, just look at heavnly sword (WOW) in geek terms and motostorm is a great game, plus gta 4
is coming out on it and it seems like the ps3 will have many more innovative unique games than the 360 or the wii. It seems like it could be a successful dreamcast.
So my plan is to wait 5 years then buy the ps3 and get all the ps3 games i want and then all the ps2 games i want.

The PS3 is the only console I haven't gotten yet, cause there's really nothing that really interests me so much that I'd buy it if that same game came out on say, the XBox 360.

Seems like Resistance is the one quality title on it, but I've got a fair share of awesome FPS games on the 360, so I could live without it.
And Heavenly Sword seems a good game, but most definitely not a must-buy (as in the sort you'd see in the running for game of the year awards come year's end).

That's about it for the exclusives. Every other good game on the PS3, I figure I'd get the 360 version for less and earn some achievement points while at it.

However, Metal Gear Solid 4 is looking really sweet right now, and I'm a pretty huge fan of MGS, so if anything, I'd definitely be getting a PS3 to play that on sooner or later.
That's the one killer game that'd start moving more PS3s off the shelves, I reckon.

It would be Xmas 08 at the absolute earliest for me. Besides more good games, I want true BC (or good software emu) and a Dualshock 3 packed in. Plus, I want to see what's really going to happen with Home.

They should have launched it this fall instead of last winter.

I would personally would like to play Heavy Rain, because its from the same guys who did Indigo Prophecy and Omikron, I am not really a graphic whore but I do have to admit that there demo video is actually pretty good
