He did accomplish certain things (especially toppling key terrorist figures) during his presidency but it's pretty much overshadowed by the unemployment rate cause that directly affects us mostly.

But the real reason unemployment remains so high isn't his fault...
Thank goodness we are ending this long and costly war.
May the soldiers return home safely.
May human rights be the rule of law in Mesopotamia.
May Iraqi women share the same rights as their brothers.
May level heads and progressive thinkers shape the future of Iraq from within.
May our children shake hands with Iraqi children in brotherhood.
May we soon bring an end to the war in Afghanistan.

I know it's not his fault. He only inherited all this mess. People seem to blame him as being the cause, not George Bush, which is ridiculous like the claim people make that Obama has so-called "ties to socialism". It's just that the large unemployment, which he has been trying to work on, hasn't been resolved and it won't be for a while. Obama even stated in his victory speech that all of our woes will probably take more than 2 terms to solve. People seemed to have expected change overnight despite him saying this.
In my earlier post, my point was that a lot of people treat it as if he walked to Osama's house, rang the doorbell, and shot him. That's what I don't like. It suprises me how few people want to give credit to the men who really did it, even if we don't know who they are.

Well I feel like the main purpose of Afghanistan was to find and kill Osama Bin Laden (which he has accomplished already). But Bin Laden really wasn't that influential within Al Qaeda by the time we got to him so there's still a considerable terrorist presence in Afghanistan.
Either way - I don't think we'll see Iraqi troops being sent into Afghanistan. The number may stay the same there or steadily decrease over the next term.
Afghanistan will draw down as well - the question is being asked 'what is our mission there now that Osama bin Laden is dead?" and I don't think anyone has come up with a satisfactory answer.
Though I run the risk of sounding a little too much like the stereotyped "American Imperialist", the fact of the matter is that Afghanistan is worthless real-estate both in terms of mineral wealth and in strategic value. Short of applying pressure on Pakistan (which our presence in Afghanistan is scarcely doing), what does Afghanistan have that we give a shit about? A 14 mile border with Western China? Opium?
That mission is over, too. As soon as it can be declared in a way that doesn't give Al Qaeda any kind of a PR victory.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?
Obama doesn't have clean hands here either. His top donor was Goldman Sachs. He hired Timothy Geithner, and rehired Bernanke.
Obama could direct his justice department to file charges against Goldman Sachs, AIG, CountryWide, etc. for a laundrylist of charges ranging from mortgage fraud and perjury to racketeering. In the Saving & Loan crisis of the 1980s Ronald Reagan did just that, and sent over 800 executive level bankers to jail on felony charges. Can you believe that? Even Ronald Reagan did more to enforce the laws against the elites than Obama has.
Obama is not on our side. He protects the 1%.
We are prepared to live in the plain and die in the plain!
It's all political, but I don't see as much conspiracy in there as you do. Looks like business as usual. Remember, all politicians are bound by re-electability goals. Many people were saying that Obama didn't care about gays until he pushed for repealing DADT. Just because something hasn't happened yet doesn't mean it won't happen. More than any other president in American history, Obama has to be very careful about what he does.
