Yeah you shouldn't have to do it in the first place, but at least you can.
I'm sorry but just the fact that Sony is trying to get people to sign away their rights like that, is more than enough reason to completely boycott the whole company. We shouldn't have to go through the trouble to write and send a snail mail letter to them. Sony is out of fucking control with their ToS and many other things.
Ryan, do you use PSN? If so, did you send in your letter? Please be honest. I have a feeling that the number of people who either boycotted Sony or sent in a letter are less than 1% of all PS3 owners.

If I still had a PS3 yeah I would use PSN, and, yes, I would send in that letter. I do actually care about these things. Not to the extent you do perhaps. But I do.

It still doesn't change the fact that you have to use PSN to download these games. And that means, giving up your rights. It is really amazing that anyone still uses PSN at this point. What the fuck is wrong with people? Sony thinks we are morons and guess what, they are right.
oh that explains it. Here I thought I used PSN because it was a way for me to game with my friends who live far away without incurring any extra fees. But now I now I realize I was only using PSN because I'm a moron. Thanks for setting me straight.
Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't realize that playing video games were more important than our rights. Something must be wrong with me. Being able to sue a company for fucking me over isn't as important as playing Black Ops online with my buddies.

actually in the grand scheme of things PLAYING video games, and BITCHING about video game companies' TOS on a message board are both very unimportant things.

Do the right thing, Noise. You know that supporting Sony harms your rights and video games themselves.
