Regardless I'll be going down to streaming only, their bluray selection sucks anyways.
People should seriously keep this in mind. Hollywood deserves far more blame than Netflix.

Well I'm still waiting for the service to be available in my country. I hope things don't become worse.
Thanks everyone...

I would be going from $11.99 to $17.98 and I was pissed. But after reading some of your comments I may just give them a break and only pay for streaming.

Just last night I was thinking about signing up for Netflix. I guess that's not happening now.

If the price remains for only streaming I will gladly pay it once it's available.

I'm pissed! :x

However, I am going to try streaming only for a while. Eventually I think I'm just going to dump it. I wish my fiance would let us dump cable too. I don't think I have willingly watched an actual TV show at home in a few years.

Wait, what?

It costs the studios nothing.

I think he meant that streaming cuts in to studio's DVD sales a lot more than the studios expected.

Or the studios didn't realize how much money they were missing out on.

If the studios had it their way, you'd pay $4 each time you WATCHED a movie.

Well, the Netflix bill here goes from $15 to $20. I have no cable, so cancelling Netflix isn't an option. Plus, Redbox's selection stinks.
