I just found out that someone made a video game version of Manos- The Hands of Fate using RPG Maker.

I've been told that the game is better than the movie, but given the quality of the movie... that tells me nothing about the game.

OK, I've been watching a lot of MST3K recently. Manos from Season 4 was bad, but bad in a good way, and the commentary made it fun to watch.

I'm on Season 5 now. I can say hands down, with no qualification at all, that Santa Claus is a much worse film. Mike and the bots could not make even make it tolerable. I was unable to finish the movie, which is a first for me for any MST3K. I even regret watching MST3K before bedtime as Santa Claus will now haunt my nightmares forever.

They really should have warned us about that one.

I have Plan 9 on DVD but I never have some one to watch it with me. It's no fun watching a bad movie by yourself, there's no one to make fun of it with.

By the way, if any one wants some really bad movies to watch, I highly recommend Beauties and the Beast and Cybernator (yes, the same title as the SNES game, no relation). Cybernator is probably the best bad movie I've ever seen. "Cyborg scum, you have the compassion of a toaster." -- "Some of my best friends were toasters." The movie takes place last year (the future) and believe it or not it's available from Netflix.

The Andromeda Strain is probably the worst film I've ever seen. They waste I don't know how much time just decontaminating the cast to get into an underground facility, in the end the problem half fixes itself, and there's a bit involving powdered blood that's just ridiculous.

The VHS copy I borrowed from a library said it was rated G too, yet, in addition to all the scariness and some swearing, in the dead town scene you see some nudity for a bit. No joke. It's just crazy. I hope the G was just a misprint or something...at any rate don't let young kids see the thing...

Oh yeah, the soundtrack was pretty weird too. Just sounded like slightly controlled static noise for the most part.

Don't add to my problems by pretending my past views are still held in the present. I do not have any patience for that. Feel free to ask me what I think now.

Santa Claus is my favorite MST3K episode, actually. Everything was just hilarious, and spot-on.
