I can comment on this now because I received one today ( a slightly cheaper purchase than your link 150RMB)Nyukki wrote:Back once again wid da ill behaviour!!!!!
Anyway...
I used to rock one of these which I bought from, you guessed it, good old T to tha A to tha OBAO mutha beeep!
Don't ask me about compatibility or sound. In any case the Dpad sucked balls and the cart slot had a mega death grip.
The sound is exactly as bad as you'd expect from one of these. I tried SOR and could hear entire notes skipping completely while Sonic sounded atrocious.
Oddly, games I was less familiar with like Moonwalker sounded okay so I'm not sure if it's just a game by game thing (It has sixty built in).
I could see other problems with the emulation. Sonic seemed to have no title screen, the game just started as soon as I booted it up!
SOR also had some horrible tearing everytime you moved. Again, though, other stuff like Golden Axe ran fine.
It's not a bad little toy and it does have the cart slot but it's not the solution we are talking about in this thread either (not that I thought it would be, I like collecting these weird handhelds afterall).
I'll post a fuller review in the taobao thread later.
