I'm thinking I will pick it up, but not on release day. I have Deus Ex and Catherine coming out over the next few months, and more games to catch up on as it is.Dakinggamer87 wrote:I downloaded the demo awhile ago and thought it was pretty fun. I liked the fatalities and the controls aren't too bad overall. I'll check it out on release but may wait to pick it up.

I enjoyed the demo and it seems like its going to have a lot of extra modes so i think it will be worth an early purchase. I pre ordered it at amazon and got a ten dollar credit for my next purchase.

Re: Mortal Kombat 9 Demo Impressions?
It's a good game, but the one thing that annoyed the hell out of me was that every time a match starts, each character has a little intro and they say the same thing every time. I wish it would just start and say fight immediately.
Also, have they announced what special character will be in the 360 version? I don't know which version to get yet as I really want to have Kratos but I prefer playing games on 360 when given the option. So if there's a really cool character, I'll be getting it on 360, if there's no special character or a shitty one, I'll be getting it on PS3.

It seems inevitable that it will be Marcus Fenix (or whatever his name is, the Gears of War guy). There aren't any other MS "mascots"/flagship franchises that are known for over the top violence and gore.

And we all saw what happened the last time they had a spartan in a xbox 360 fighting gamebrunoafh wrote:It seems inevitable that it will be Marcus Fenix (or whatever his name is, the Gears of War guy). They could also do what they did with Soul Calibur and put Spawn in it which made no sense at all. Ryu from Ninja Gaiden could be cool but MK already has enough ninjas.

All the more reason he'd fit in.darthmunky wrote:Ryu from Ninja Gaiden could be cool but MK already has enough ninjas.
Re: Mortal Kombat 9 Demo Impressions?
Ninja Gaiden isn't exclusive though, isnt the thrid one going to be multi from the start. Wasn't it only mr grabass that wanted it to be xbox only?darthmunky wrote:They could also do what they did with Soul Calibur and put Spawn in it which made no sense at all. I guess you could use the fable guy? What about Kameo, no one likes her, im sure people would love to see her get ripped to shreds.

They could use Commander Shepard, Mass Effect 1 is still Xbox exclusive...

Eh. His character is about as appealing as a broken stick.darthmunky wrote:They could use Commander Shepard, Mass Effect 1 is still Xbox exclusive...
