elmagicochrisg wrote:No returns doesn't count if the description wasn't right. You have every right to file a claim. Just know you yourself will have to pay for return shipping with proof, otherwise PayPal will not refund you. If you got the psp very cheap it might not be worth the effort. So I guess it's up to you now to decide if you will file that claim or not...
When I get a real job I will buy myself a working psp 2000 and sell the fat one ebay. I would like to get the new psp 2 touch the ngp someday.

Return policy
I saw this from the beginning.

Read this:

http://pages.ebay.com/help/buy/item-not-received.html

If the item is not as described (in this case, the wrong model, and the thumbstick is broken even though the listing implied it would not be), you should contact the seller to see if he will make it right. If not, file a claim with ebay.

Even if he says he won't take a return, if he sent you a different item than described in the auction, he is supposed to do something to make it right.

Trust me the culprit is this douche. Trust me he is no gangster or cholo. He is currently selling his money jacket on ebay, one bidder at the moment.

I like to think of this thread as a drawn out joke with that pic as the punchline.

Im planning to file a claim, but I'll think about it and make the final decesion. I know you guys are right and do agree on what you all said. I may comment here later tonight on something about this.

Key Facts:
Okay I'm willing to file a claim, which I've never done before. I payed for a non working psp that cost me $65 that is also includes shipping. I Knew before purchasing it was not working order and that he doesn't accept returns. He clearly posted the item title as "Sony PSP 2000 Piano Black". When I received it in mail. I double checked below the psp battery slot, which clearly says "PSP-1001". I also found out its missing a the analog thumb tab eventhough you can move it fine. I do feel this bastard is not going to give me my money back.

The way I paid for this item was through paypal. Do I go straight to paypal helping center to file a claim or ebay? Also should I contact the seller or not? Should I file the claim and make it go ahead. I also do feel that he likely to respond late or ignore.

I do feel cheated on this particular item. Of course there is big difference between psp 1000 and 2000. Once all of this is over and corrected I will just purchase a used working psp 2000 in $75 to $100 range.

Here is proof that I have the psp.

File the claim. Ebay owns PayPal so it doesn't matter. I would just go straight to PayPal. Send the seller an email but just give him a day or two before filing the claim. The clock is ticking on how much you have to file the claim so make sure you do it within that window.
