You're buying from the wrong place.

I got it, but haven't played it yet. The wife and eldest daughter (9) played it, but both commented on the frustrating camera that put them off it.

I'll give it a crack in the coming weeks. Although with the arrival of a 360 at Christmas, there's a few other games dominating the upstairs TV at the moment (can't stop playing Super Meat Boy!).

I read 1up's review. It was really odd. The reviewer listed a huge number of flaws in the game and in the end gave a average-to-good score.

Is there multiple paths in this game? I'm at the gremlin village right now, and there was an exit that was easy to get to. I went up to the windmill and found another exit, and the gremlin up there said it was a secret exit. Am I skipping stages or something?

My brother picked this up today in the sales, and I've been playing it a bit this afternoon.

Meh it's alright... Not as good as I thought it would be, it's a slightly above average platformer, but with some rather nice art direction and touches to it. I'm finding it a bit boring at times though.

Also, what Ziggy said about the save system is so true. It's so incredibly annoying that it doesn't tell you when it saves. How am I supposed to know when I can turn it off?

Agreed. I hate it when game developers do that. Either give me a specified check point, save station, or let me do it manually. Auto saves are fine but without some kind of notice I could turn it off and loose who knows how much progress :(

I read (who knows if it's true) that the creators wanted to use auto saves so you couldn't go back on your decisions. Still, and indicator would be nice.

there is a thing in the top left corner when it saves, it is the same when you die and get put back somewhere (a note falling or something) really small and completely missable.

I hate that when you die you are unsure what you have or have not done.

All in all though i am really enjoying this game.

Huh, go figure. I'll keep an eye out for it next time I play. Thanks for the info!

Exactly! It just drops you in the entrance to a HUGE area and you have no idea what you already did or not.

Yeah, it's not the greatest game, but it's definitely a lot of fun. It's definitely the atmosphere that draws me to it.

Found something pretty cool in the game. I was at a place called Mickey Junk Mountain or something like that, a place filled with junk from various Mickey things. So I was going around and I found some NES carts, and SNES carts too. Then I noticed they had game labels on them.

I love when you find stuff like this in games.

Oh, that M symbol. I saw that before but didn't know it meant it was auto saving.
