Yes. 500 points. Manliest game ever.
EDIT: just looking through wiiware, my "want list" library is over 200,000 points D: . If I get a wii, I may have to use the .wad loader.

What?!AmishSamurai wrote:However, they changed the translation, so Balrog shouts "OH YEAH!" instead of his trademark "HUZZAH!"
"OH YEAH!"?????
What is he supposed to be? The Kool Aid Man?
I gotta say that I prefer "Huzzah!"...

Re: Must have Wii downloads?
I'll recommend Castlevania: The Adventure ReBirth, Contra ReBirth, Gradius ReBirth, Star Parodier, Star Soldier, and Castlevania: Rondo of Blood.

Assuming that each game costs 1,000 points, that means you have 200 Wii Ware games on your shopping list? Really!?AmishSamurai wrote:

Re: Must have Wii downloads?
You don't have to wait until the servers are gone, you'll lose your downloaded titles as soon as your Wii dies, you sell it, "upgrade" to a different color, etc. What you download is tied to your system, not to your account. For this reason, I don't buy Will downloads. Not sure it would work if your old system died, either.slowslow325 wrote:I don't mean to hijack your thread but could someone answer this quick question? Can you pirate downloadable games on the Wii? I'm not asking this because I'm going to, I'm asking this for when the next console comes out and I don't have every downloadable games and the servers are gone. I keep worrying about it, if someone answers it could put my mind at ease.
Granted, there is a process by which Nintendo will transfer your titles/rights to a new Wii if you ship both your old and new console to them. I can't imagine that's cheap, it certainly isn't convenient, and you shouldn't have to pay at all to keep what you downloaded.
So be prepared to lose whatever you downloaded as soon as your Wii bites the dust. Or, if you decide to sell the Wii now and then pick up another one down the road you can wave goodbye to your money and games.
I only hope Nintendo devise some way to fix this oversight before the next Nintendo console comes out. Alas, they will probably just want you to purchase everything a second time...

Re: Must have Wii downloads?
Probably mistyped that. But it was a huge number of points. Some were 1500 like Pokemon Rumble.Incognito D wrote:Assuming that each game costs 1,000 points, that means you have 200 Wii Ware games on your shopping list? Really!?AmishSamurai wrote:

Re: Must have Wii downloads?
I know this thread is old but I don't want to make another thread on the same subject. Maybe the author should bump this but I think now if any is the time to get the downloads on to your wii before they shut down the vc and wiiware. My must haves for the wii downloads are games already mentionedon wii ware
castlevania
megaman 9,10
gradius
excitebike
contra
cave story
I don't know any more good ones on wii ware maybe some suggestions but on virtual console,
neo geo, turbografx 16, games especially castlevania rondo of blood and any shmups on the tg-16.
For snes I would get any game that is going to kill your wallet if you try to get the real cart. So that's every game on the vc lol. No just games like final fight 3 or mega man x3 or expensive games like that. The genesis and nes I cant think of any at the moment but that's my take right now. My opinion is that if anyone has the wii, get those downloads now before its too late. Id give it less than a year maybe after Christmas before they shut it all down

Re: Must have Wii downloads?
I'd rather stick to naming Wiiware games because any classic game available on the VC service I'm sure is covered on some other list like "Top *classic system* Games". Wiiware is a bit unique so I feel it makes sense.
Without further delay:
1) all of the Art Style games
2) the two Final Fantasy management games (I forgot the names but they are from the Crystal Chronicles series)
3) My Pokemon Ranch
4) MaBoShi(?) Arcade
5) Defend Your Castle
6) Pop!
7) the two Lost Winds games
8] Toki Tori
9) World of Goo
And that's all I can think of at the moment.
