I just mean, I could often rant on a technical subject that long, but I stop and wonder if anyone would actually read the whole thing. If they don't, then that means I just wasted time and energy and should have summed things up.

I look at em' 1 of 2 ways.

1) I know so much about the subject it takes very little time to write about it in a rush (hence the poor grammar and often paranthesis)

2) I know some and utilize the time to research more in greater detail and then share information learned with the people who have brought me the topic. Again resulting in straying topic tangents and editing and re-editing of the post over the 10 minute period after posting.

Either way quenching my thirst for information and knowledge

Lol, I actually do know about VC-1 and H.264...just no one has them available to download on any of the sites I go to nor have I done much research on them, so they seemingly slipped to the back of mind. Excuses excuses excuses tho.
