True enough. I can not even stay in a multiplayer match today. I keep getting booted by the system for having a bad connection it says.

Wonder if this will takeover the numbers from online Modern Warfare players.
Youtube video that Octopod linked does seem to be an inspiration from the Good Bad and Ugly.
The level settings in the Southwest with the older Spanish style buildings and the way the bullets ricochet sound effects.

I got this game at a midnight release from Gamestop. I wanted it so i could have the OST of the game. Sucks though that my Xbox is in repairs at the moment. Im down though if anyone wants to start a posse.

I picked it up for PS3 and got my $25 credit which was sweet. I will be playing it later tonight after I play Alan Wake for a bit. :)

Mods, can this thread maybe be moved to the 360/PS3 forum? It probably fits there better.

I am really enjoying this game right now. I have never been a big fan of the GTA games, they get too repetitive and the endless violence/crass humor gets really annoying. RDR though has a classic, epic western feel. For once in a sandbox game, I actually like the protagonist. I mean, I would have no problem letting Nico Bellic get gunned down, I hate the guy. John Marston seems like an honest character though, and the endless violence is believable given the setting. I realize inner city life is dangerous, but it seems to pale in comparison to the Old West.

Great music, story and visuals. I love this game.
