I'm watching the video and he's not backdash cancelling his attacks and it makes me sad.

wtf, isn't this straight up a CV song? Are they allowed to do that?Sarge wrote:Oh, by the way, Bloodstained is looking pretty good. Can't wait to actually get to play the demo.
I was skeptical from the last "movement" demo we saw, but it's definitely looking awesome in motion.

Nier 2 looks amazing, I'm more excited about this than Scalebound, for Platinum:

Wow that does look amazing. The character animations are so smooth and detailedXeogred wrote:Nier 2 looks amazing, I'm more excited about this than Scalebound, for Platinum:

The music!!!
I'm glad the shmup mechanics are back too. That was a wacky mix in the original and it was awesome.
Clearly Platinum let their interns and lackeys work on TMNT, while the rest of the team have been working on this and Scalebound.

It's similar but I don't think it's the same. They have Castlevania composers on the project after all.Xeogred wrote:wtf, isn't this straight up a CV song? Are they allowed to do that?Sarge wrote:Oh, by the way, Bloodstained is looking pretty good. Can't wait to actually get to play the demo.

I'm getting antsy waiting for the demo.

I'm still waiting on all those rumors I heard about them having something "in the works" after the N64 patent ran out.prfsnl_gmr wrote:BoneSnapDeez wrote:So will that be released before or after the Retron 5 Game Gear peripheral?![]()
Yeah...If Hyperkin had shown that peripheral at E3, I would be over the moon. At this point, I suspect we will never receive it. (Prove me wrong, Hyperkin!)

I'm sure the game is gonna be amazing and really loved what I saw last year but the Scalebound demo was just awful.Xeogred wrote:Nier 2 looks amazing, I'm more excited about this than Scalebound, for Platinum:

This really makes it sound like Nier Automata is Platinum Games' #1 priority right now, which is exciting to me. I'm not that interested in Scalebound either, but it definitely looks better than the licensed Activision crap Platinum does on the side haha."Although Yoko was initially uneasy about the collaboration, the staff at PlatinumGames had been wanting to work on a Nier game since its release, and their enthusiasm and wish to remain faithful to the original assuaged his doubts.[4] Taura also wished to create a sequel to Nier prior to Square Enix approaching the company.[12] The original plan was to make the game for mobile platforms or PlayStation Vita, but it was soon decided to make the game for PlayStation 4.[3]"
