eh, that's pretty nit-picky. A game that's over a decade old I'd have no problem calling "retro."

EDIT: weren't all those Sega light gun games post-1999? And Jet Grind Radio? Riviera? Super Monkey Ball?

I haven't participated in Together Retro yet, but I really need to do so. I think I'll start next month.

So, does that mean this December is shmups? :mrgreen:

Is there an easy way to see what games have been done recently? I'd like to submit some ideas, but I don't want to suggest something that has already been done recently.

Jul: How about a Treasure double bill? 1) Gunstar Heroes AND 2) Guardian Heroes...!

Sep: Platformer – 1) Out of this World 2)Sparkster

Oct: Horror-related – 1) Silent Hill 2) Maniac Mansion

Nov: Puzzle – 1) Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo 2) Lemmings

Dec: Shmup – 1) DoDonPachi 2) Ikaruga

DoDonPachi is on American PSN?
It might be on the Japanese one, but that's easy to get. It also runs very well in MAME.
