David Morrissey was recently cast as the governor.

This show should be something completely different next season. And the season finale is going to be nuts. More deaths, Rick challenged as a true leader, and more answers to lingering questions.

Might be too soon to say, and I haven't had this confirmed nor denied, but I'm really hoping to see two armless and jawles zombies on leashes next season.

I seriously love that storyline. It has some... unlikable parts, but I really think that adds to the story of it. Its not the sombies to fear, its the people.

Ahh!!Michonne, right?!! Hopefully they'll have her and her trusty Kitana blade! I'm very interested to see what they do w/ the Governor too and if Rick get's his hand chopped off in the tv series.
I am addicted to video games, especially retro gaming from my era. I have: NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Gameboy, GBA, Wii, Sega Genesis, Sega CD, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, Xbox, and Xbox 360. I have probably over 1,000 games in total for all these systems combined. Yes, I need help and I wouldn't have it any other way! This is my passion and hey my wife still loves me!!

I just got the trade with the first 48 issues, so I'm gonna cave in and start reading the series. I just hope it doesn't ruin my enjoyment of the show.

It won't. There's enough difference to keep it interesting. (Actually, quite a bit different.) Also, I would suggest looking up '68. It was a one shot comic a while back, that ended up spawning a series about zombies in the late 60's/early 70's with Vietnam and 'homecoming' problems thrown in for fun. I've only read the one shot, but it is quality art and writing.

So the guy with the biggest heart, and the guy with the biggest balls are both dead. Wow. If the group wasn't broken before, it definitely is now.

She's so pivotal in the comics that there is no way she can't be in the show. And I'm spitballing here, but I think it's safe to say that Lori will meet her demise late in next season or early after. Time will tell. But plan on some other people getting the axe tonight.

Rick losing half his arm is HUGE. They pretty much have to include that as it gives us more insight about the virus. But...

...I'm really excited about the finale. Not sure if we're having people over or going to a friend's house yet, but there will be ghoulish libations.
