It OK I liked ''Walking on the Sun'' when it came out.
I just went and seen Manson again, this time in Tulsa. A week from Tuesday I am seeing Flaw on my way to Ohio for Rock on the Range.
What concerts have you attended?
Re: What concerts have you attended?
I annually go to WinterJam.
It's 10 artists for $10. It's a really good concert, and usually has some big names, which is a steal at the entry price (Newsboys, Thousand Foot Krutch, Skillet, Tobymac, Lecrae, Jamie Grace, & MercyMe just to name a few)
It is a Christian concert, however.

Currently Playing: Hatsune Miku Project Diva F 2nd (PS3)

Not been to concerts for many years, however back in the 80's I saw:
Motorhead
Deep Purple
Meatloaf
Dio
Bad News (was a comedy rip-off but was great fun)
Missed chance to see Twisted Sister a couple of years back when they came over to my part of the UK; never mind.

Nearly destroyed my ears. Never doing that again. Anyways, I there was actually people trying to get a mosh pit going. It was a sad sight.
smash mouth makes me want to punch people, too.
Why all the hating on Smash Mouth? At the Windows 8 ship party we had them playing and my coworkers looked at me weird when I was singing along to the songs that didn't get radio play.
i mean, they're just not my thing.

Re: What concerts have you attended?
This weekend, I will be attending two Distant Worlds concerts.
Distant Worlds is a symphonic concert series that plays Final Fantasy music. I went several years ago and I cannot wait to attend again this year. This time, I am attending both shows as they are doing two in my town. They have a video screen showing game play and cutscenes along with the symphonic music in the background. It is a wonderful experience.
As a giant Final Fantasy fanboy, I am so freaking excited! I will be doing a similar experience later in the year when the Zelda Symphony comes into town.

Re: What concerts have you attended?
I just saw
Animals as Leaders
Steve Vai
and Joe Satrianni
It was absolutely insane. Tosin (guitarist from AAL), Vai, and Joe all got on stage at the end and played Zappa and BB King. The amount of guitar finesse at this show was just out of this world. AAL is so good live, going to see them again next month. Vai is a god among men, and oozes such a wonderful vibe, and Joe is just too cool. Still can't believe this show actually happened. We were maybe 5 rows from the front.

Never been to a real concert, but at the 2010 Winter Classic I did see Hinder, The Clarks, and Styx. And at the Winter Classic this year it was Billy Idol, Gavin Degraw, and Lee Greenwood.
And I've been to Play! Symphony, Video Games Live, and Zelda Symphony of the Goddess.

Well I have not updated this thread since May, lol.
June 13 was Joan Jett and at the end of June was Weird Al witch was a super fun time!!! I just went and seen Halestorm on Monday, it was a short acoustic set and then an electric set. There was no opening band and they played for around 2 hours. I wish more tours were like that. Also got Sabbath tix for February.

How was Joan Jett? She's opening for The Who later this month.

Very good. Could have played a little longer as the were no other bands that night. It was the earliest I have ever seen a concert get over. She played all the hits of course.
