I feel like that would have been a case I wouldn't have made it obvious I recognized the name.

Never miss an opportunity to make others laugh.

Plus it was a jerk reaction. Get it? No? You're better off if you don't get it, cause it's terrible.

 Still don't have a house lined up. The one I mentioned before didn't work out since our combined income didn't meet the requirements (the house was rent-to-own).

 We've been looking into houses, and found a lot of great places. The problem? Some were too much per month, too big, too small and so on.

:) Went to the thrift store since I was bored and picked up an umbrella (the weather's kinda shitty) and a disc-only copy of No Doubt's "The Singles: 1992-2003".

:) We also got Subway (where Disney cast members get a discount).

Honestly, I don't mind the story or the idea of upgrading levels and stuff. I feel as though there is not problem solving and it is just throwing enemies at me constantly. These enemies (I am just starting) will be easy eventually, but now I notice they are pretty damn hard for where I am at in the game. Very frustrating.
If you want a more forgiving and modernized version of the same basic game, I recommend you check out the first Adventure Time game for the 3DS.

Always chasing a white whale I am. There is an incredible sales opportunity with an incredible company so I jumped on board a week or two ago for an interview. The interview was this morning starting at 7am, which isn't uncommon as that means someone is probably going to get the axe soon.

I had the odd interview today with three interviewers and three interviewees, all at one table. We all exchanged resumes, which I thought was odd as I don't want my competition to know my email address/phone/address, but I played ball.

After a few softball questions from the interviewers, it got tense.

"Chris, judging by Luke's resume where does he come up short and why would be wary to hire him?"

"Luke, in turn, what shortcomings do you see Chris having, and how do you respond to his critique of your resume?".

I don't think I made any friends with my competition.

I'd say I have a 50/50 chance. I believe I was the best interviewee, but there was this guy in his mid-forties who had an incredible resume and well over a decade of more experience in the field. If it doesn't work out, no biggie at all as I'm kind of reaching for the stars on this one and I'm happy with the work I do as of now.

Plus we'd have to move and I absolutely love my home and my wife loves her job here... but the zorts that come with this job..whoa baby.

That's a weird-ass interview.

I've been up against a firing squad before, but you could feel the tension in the room.

One of the critiques I received was "I don't see how Luke's e-commerce sales experience relates at all to actual B2C or B2B experience". Dude set up a t-ball for me.

"My B2B and B2C sales experience began in 1997 when I was a fundraiser for my University, continued through my years at the University where I owned and operated a catering company where I dealt with both customers and businesses. You may have glanced over my interview as you missed the fact that not only did I sell to businesses and customers at national conventions, but also was responsible for landing an account with Amazon, with their very first purchase being over $100,000 in yarn".

My critique that stumped him for a good pause was something close to "You tout numbers in your resume but have no basis for their relevance. As you see in my resume I had a goal to double on-line sales within my first year, which I accomplished and then some. What challenges and goals are associated with your sales numbers?"

Took him a while to mention exceeding quotas, which I thought was a lame answer. Exceeding quotas is expected, that's not a goal.

Hostile environment.

Well, yeah, I can understand a firing squad of a bunch of interviewers with a single interviewee having to defend his resume. It's the pitting the candidates so directly against each other that seems so weird to me.
