Don't worry Nintendo, there's no missed market here at all. Nobody wants more Metroid.

I am intrigued... time to mod a ROM.

Edit: Played for 15 minutes to test, was impressed. The mini-map is very nice, so are the save slots. Definitely a lot of quality work involved here.

What's the best NES emulator thesedays?

I really am about to cave back into emulation. Feeling ultra burned out my Nintendo's VC moves and I'm assuming the Wii/Wii U stuff will not migrate over to the Switch. Not sure I should keep buying their roms.

For NES I tend to stick to NEStopia:

8/16/32-bit emulation as a precedent; I've been staunch on that for years upon years. Have never regretted it.

I'll second Nestopia. Occasionally FCEUx for hacks that don't play nice with real hardware or Nestopia.

I have used FCEUx for years (and FCEU for years before that). I'm totally happy and satisfied with everything FCEUx does.
