I own the PC version and I got the 360 version after beating the ultra hard PC version, it didn't last long on my collection  . On the PC the game is an incredible RPG, on the 360 it's a great game with some huge technical issues that destroy the game.

I really liked it though so you're not the only fan of the game :D .
Great to hear, I wonder if my PC could handle it as is? Not sure... but yeah that'd be a good excuse to play through it again someday.

Oh it's on Can You Run It! I passed the recommended requirements, now it's extra tempting.

I played through the game with this specs on Max settings, 1440x900 resolution and with V-Sync forced (If it dipped to less than 60 FPS it usually was on some special attacks):

GTX 260 Core 216 Superclocked 55nm
AMD Phenom II X3 720 @2.9GHZ
4GB DDR2 800MHZ Kingston RAM
A shitty 5200 rpm HDD

If you have something similar to that then you should be able to run the game perfectly.

Hmmm, dunno. Most of my specs top yours but I've got a slim PC and when I did the research a year or so back, the Radeon HD 5570 was one of the best low profile cards I could find. Sounds quite a step down compared to that GTX, lol. It seems equivalent to the GTS 240 or something.

Changed my mind: I'm playing Splatterhouse 3 and Castlevania 64. Also, Xeogred, Phantoon is a bitch.

Just picked up Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles packaged with the Magnum and Knife for the Wiimote and Nunchuk. Will be playing all Wii shooters in style. 8)

Right now I have a GTX 460 1GB and I can run almost every game out there on 1080p with max settings, apparently they are similar in terms of power. As for my future rig, does 2 GTX 560 Ti 2GB on SLI, an Intel Core i5 2500k and 8 more GB of RAM sounds monstruous?

Give me your PC!

I had a laptop only for years though, haha. I just couldn't pass up this PC which was like ~$500 off newegg about two years ago, so it was nice to finally have a desktop. I could probably put it all in a bigger case someday, but I'll probably just save my time and money and get a real beast ... someday. My power supply is very low as well so I had to be extra careful with the graphics card taking that in consideration. My PC is like as slim as a slim PS3/360, so yeah there's just no room at all for anything else here. The onboard videocard I put up with for awhile though was laughably bad, lol oh man. When I got some HD texture pack for Deus Ex it struggled to handle that. I think that sums it up. So in comparison to that, the upgrade has been HUGE.

back on topic...

I finished Dementium: The Ward this morning and while I really enjoyed the game, the ending was a bit of a let down. I will look into playing the sequel (maybe next year), but I am not anxious to spend another 6 hours or so holding the DS awkwardly (I find the FPS controls on the DS to be hand-cramping).

Anyway, I suppose I should get back into Splatterhouse 2010 and get cracking on some of these other titles. I think it is time to fire up Amnesia and give Brutal Sports Football a spin.

Oh, and Steam is willing to offer me store credit, but not a refund. I am debating what I want to do, as the process of trying to play Rage is, well, rage-inducing.

You may as well take the store credit if you're not going to keep trying to get Rage to work. That money would all be gone after the Thanksgiving sales, anyway. :P

Sorry, I know you're probably done with talking about Rage in this thread, but I got it to run flawlessly with this driver from AMD:
http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/Pa ... river.aspx

And putting +r_swapInterval 1 in the Launch Options in Steam. The option just forces V-Sync which it looks like they patched in recently, so may not need to do that. Try it out this game is awesome from what I've played so far.
