Yoshiegg, that screen is more like 2.7 inches, not 6.
Re: Nintendo: Project Cafe
Meh. Regardless of what the actual outcome is, it's just going to be your run of the mill gimmick that's only actually use for like 3 games and just forcefully tacked on to the rest.

Re: Nintendo: Project Cafe
I think it will be a neat concept and I trust that Nintendo will do it right. They are usually pretty innovative with their controllers. The only controller that I disliked a little would be the N64 controller but it's really not that bad considering that they had analog support from the get-go unlike the PS1 and other consoles of the 5the generation.
I can see the built-in screen will be cool for games like Zelda, NFL Football, etc.

Do not want.
"...will also be usable as a portable game device on its own."
I wonder if it'll just be something similar to what's possible with the PSP or if this will eventually be able to replace the 3/DS. The camera just seems unnecessary, though.

So It's like an over sized, touchscreen VMU?

Never played a Dremcast (I assure you that's going to be rectified.) Sounds neat nonetheless , just sounds expensive too...

Re: Nintendo: Project Cafe
My only hope for Project Cafe is that it has some new kind of controller. I'm tired of seeing systems just use some lame derivative of the PlayStation controller. And I'm not just talking about the touchscreen, I want something new, it doesn't have to be gimmicky, but just some change of pace from the basic two thumb stick, four face button, and four triggers. Or at least an innovative layout, like the GameCube controller, which still has the four face buttons, but it's creative and, even if only marginally, different. In fact I'd like to see someone bring back six face buttons, seeing as it works very well for fighting games, and I don't see any disadvantage to using six buttons as opposed to four.
TL;DR - I want a new controller that's at least a little innovative in design and function, beyond just gimmicks.
