A DK or DK2, gruff, older Batman would be the bee's knees. I would even happily welcome Clooney to reprise the role if he played the "I don't give a f***, I will always find a way to make any of you surrender and fear me" Batman. And that is what I am hoping for.

I want a Bruce Wayne who gives two s#!ts about being a playboy unless he's using that lifestyle as a personal facade. I want a Wayne that has a Giant Penny in the Bat-cave and is always pissed off for no reason other than he is pissed off at the world.

Keep Alfred of course, but the business side of him can be washed away and I wouldn't complain. The business side IS part of his comic character, but movies aren't comic books. Sure, Batman broke a leg and punched some dudes in the Nolan series, but I want the vengeful Batman who breaks bones like he was eating breakfast. I think it is time we get a Batman with a Clint Eastwood feel.

Problem is...that's not Batman. It's like you just described a completely different character. You pretty much just described every generic, cookie cutter, anti-hero
