Yes, the only marvel comics I read were some Ultimate X-Men comics (yeah no comment),and I agree with everything you said.
I also always found the mytholodgy of the X-Men world more interesting and that it worked better when it was separated from the rest of the marvel universe (see the 90s cartoon).
I haven't read any Fantastic Four or Spiderman comics (though again I've watched the 90s cartoon) but I don't know....I'm not a huge fan of team ups. I mean, was locky really that big of a threat that you needed all the avengers? And especially spiderman feels like a character that works best when alone.
buuuuuuut.....I do like justice league stories....at least the cartoons (justice league and young justice)....I don't know, maybe DC does team ups better?
