CONFIRMED! Access Club Nintendo Rewards For Faster Access
Just tried to verify my account and could not get in again. Found going directly to the Rewards page more reliable, GOOGLE IS NOT NEEDED! I now have this new link saved under favorites.

https://club.nintendo.com/rewards.do

Here is a screen shot of the Physical prizes again, Club Nintendo still has everything "in stock" so far.
Now what to get out of the remaining meager selection? :?

Image

My picks so far, hey these are Hot Links direct from the Club Nintendo site! Its the front page that is bogging down.

Zelda Canvas Bag - Has Club Nintendo Logo
At least it is canvas, not nylon and has the Club Nintendo Logo on it. I have a portable SNES SupaBoy with its own smaller bag, maybe store my SNES/SFC carts in the N64 themed bag for car trips?

Image

Zelda Puzzle - No Club Nintendo Logo
Interesting art, but no Club Nintendo Logo apparent. Perhaps the final design will have include the logo? At least a matched item to put in the Zelda bag.

Image
Animal Crossing Cards - Club Nintendo Logo - TWO SETS!
Just playing cards, but does have many characters for the Pokemon collecting affect. I mentioned two sets, I redeemed for two pairs of the cards! Two decks for my OCD collecting and two for daughter who is also insane.

Huh, I was just going to say that I couldn't get in at all today, but I finally got in just now  I think my order for the Zelda 3DS pouch got through too... maybe.

Be careful, a lot of people on Cheapassgamer are reporting the site is eating codes and
1) Not giving points at all but still using up the code
2) Taking the codes but not giving surveys
3) Taking the codes and registering a different product than what the game is

Its definitely screwy now, I went in a week before they announced the closure and entered a lot of codes just fine. Since they "relaunched" it has been giving me trouble to log in.

Agreed.

I have two older pouches and Star messenger bag that was offered. For what it's worth, I feel quality of the pouches is much nicer than the messenger bag - which seems a bit too small, only has one large pocket, and doesn't close very well. They are different enough items that a comparison might not be useful though. It's also unclear if the new items will be the same as the old ones, although that seems likely.

I'm quite torn about whether to get another pouch. Pricing is higher than it used to be, and I'm not sure I need another... but the old pouches are very nice. Same goes for the 3DS card case: quality item but not needed when I already have three older ones.

I virtually only needed a pouch for my 3DS, I don't have anything to keep mine in to prevent it from getting little exterior scratches.

I need a messenger bag, mainly one to carry a laptop in, but I'll need to get that elsewhere I believe.

Yup, confirmed. You guys get way cooler stuff than us (UK). God dammit, why does the UK Club Nintendo suck so much? I would love that Zelda bag or Zelda puzzle.

For the 3DS, unless you really want that Zelda logo, maybe check 3rd party bags or shells? Same with the Zelda Messenger Bag, there are so many laptop cases out there made to match the exact size of your PC screen. A Laptop pouch with zipper is the easiest route for compactness. I keep a smaller pouch separate with the mouse, power brick and USB game controller and leave the accessories in car or not depending where I take it.

Here is the 3DS bag at the UK site, not too shabby:

I went for the messenger bag myself. Even though a dark logo, for me the most useful multi function bag. For the transport of just once in a while (instead of PC), it will be used for SNES portable gaming on the go, will not get the daily wear mileage a Tablet or Laptop would instill.

Speaking of bags, I have seen over priced Amiibo storage bags on the store shelves. Nice pockets, but way too big per section, made to probably fit entire package of each Amibo. I thought the packages had to be opened to use them on the system? Perhaps as the market settles down the bags will drop in price. I'm looking for different bag options to store my growing collection of UB Funkeys which are an older "DLC" figurine concept for the PC, perhaps look into Hot Wheels car compartment bags.

PDP (Pelican) had a nice pouch for like 10-20(forget price) in red and a few other colors if you really want something that'll hold both the 3DS and XL. The top half has 6 elastic pouches for 1 game, bottom has a strap with velcro to hold the system in there and it zips up, good all around padding too. I keep it in there when it's at home or if I go somewhere long enough to matter. But for short stuff or just lying around, a basic pouch like the old club nintendo red/blue+gray or this upcoming zelda pouch would be ideal.

I also can verify code eating. I did the +10 coins follow up for smash bros, got nothing. Also it was acting so badly last night when I finally got in to make an attempt, it gave me the wrong f'ng game so I had to write NOA about it. Hope they're not jerks, I really don't need 2 copies of 3D Classics Kid Icarus. I asked if they could just re-code me to NES-Punchout.

I've probably lost my points. If anyone wants that and can snap up Punchout for me I'd trade.

Maybe refresh the page or log back in so it will update your coins. Try loading a random site then reload the Club Nintendo site again. Either the coins will be gained or the survey will show on the To Do list by clicking the Mario Hat Icon.

Just finished entering my codes fo Post Plays that just popped up this morning, the bypass link really works to get in the site. Gaaah, I hate Java which "forgets" everything if the page does not submit. I Copy the entire final comment text in case that happens which is more often now due to traffic. I slug thru adding the text which has helped me get invites to Nintendo Lounges in the past at Comic Con. Post Plays completed brought me just over the 800 mark again, enough for another bag or just download a few (no disc or cart option) DLC coded to each system games.

The Wii games of Truspace (plays like Tetris 3d Blockout) and Fluidity (plays like Loco Roco) demo versions play well, might snag the full game in April. There are 51 FREE demos available to download to the Wii at the Nintendo Shop. 3DS and WiiU demos are there as well, try the demo version before investing coins in the full game.

Someone complained one of the prizes is a Club Nintendo Points Card. I rather have that, so I can "purchase" any of the DLC off Nintendo Shop. Sucks that the Platinum and Gold prizes will be DLC only and only for the 3DS and WiiU, hopefully this will change. Ah well, a present for the son since the Daughter got the Animal Crossing Cards.
