Same, our plans fell through last night so (as of right now) I have a whole day to do nothing but cookout and game.

I plan to get going Monday, after I pick up my PS2 when I'm visiting my girlfriends family.
That said, I plan to start with Metroid Prime 3. I'm still looking for someone to trade me friend tokens though :p

hm......I hate (single player) FPS games, unless it's Half Life, so I think we've got ourselves a sitcomAck wrote:If you mean shmups, then I like them, but I am terrible at them.ZeroAX wrote:They should make a sitcom about us to living together and forcing each other to play each other's favorite genre. If you mean FPS, then we have a sitcom!
And beyond Rolling Thunder 2 and Drill Dozer, I'd say your list is pretty full of classics. And Ds can suck it if he thinks otherwise.
Also, come on. RT2 and Drill Dozer should be considered cult classics

I have never understood this. Why challenge yourself to do the most gaming when it's nice outside? Doesn't a winter game challenge make more sense?
Re: Summer Game Challenge 2013 - What will you be playing?
Actually I'd rather be outside during the winter here. In Atlanta, summer consists of numerous days at 100+ degrees with 80% humidity minimum. It gets so hot outside, you really can cook an egg on the sidewalk. People manage to get second degree burns just from touching their steering wheels in their cars.the King wrote:I have never understood this. I agree with this. Summer in the South is like winter in New England...not much to do except stay inside. (Our Fall, Winter, and Spring are beautiful, however...those are the time to be outside.)Ack wrote:Actually I'd rather be outside during the winter here. Same here. 35 degrees is a pretty standard summer day, and I've seen it climb to 42 pretty often. Heck being in a room without air conditioning, is in itself torture.Ack wrote:Actually I'd rather be outside during the winter here. Changing my original list a bit.
1) Alladin (MD)
2) Rolling Thunder 2 (MD)
3) Super Mario Bros 3 (All Stars Wii version)
4) Flashback (MD)
5) Super Castlevania IV (SNES)
6) Megaman X4 (instead of Drill Dozer)
7) The Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past (SNES)
θ) Donkey Kong (GB)
9) Megaman X5 (instead of Starfox)
10) Crash Bandicoot 2 (PS3 store version)
both on the PS2 collection. I've played the original trilogy from start to finish, but not these games :/
