:) Got my Shin Megami Tensei IV 3DS LL. Gotta order another charger since these Japanese LL systems don't include one. It looks wonderful! :D Now to try out some Project Mirai soon. And some Taiko no Tatsujin.

That is wicked cool. I want.

It's such a shame the 3DS is region locked. So many cool special editions we don't get here.

I guess I'll have to live with my boring red one. Which I admittedly like, but, it's like every other red 3DS XL.

It really is a shame. :( Considering I bought this for only a few games. Project Mirai and Taiko no Tatsujin. But for me it is worth it for Project Mirai. :)

Could always get an Animal Crossing or Pikachu 3DS XL. Maybe that nice looking Luigi one will come here.

I love this design on the SMTIV 3DS LL. And the black Monster Hunter 4 3DS LL is just as good. Maybe even better. Reminds me of the Zelda 3DS a bit.

Also, booted up Project Mirai for the first time ever this morning and got this message.

Man, I do not have enough time and/or money for the 3DS.

I got Fire Emblem a couple of months ago. I just picked up Etrian Odyssey 4 AND Harvest Moon: A New Beginning. I am definitely downloading Animal Crossing on the 9th.

I want to snag Monster Hunter, Luigi's Mansion, NSMB2....

And the future.... geez... Link to the Past 2, Rune Factory 4, Mario & Luigi Dream Team, Project X Zone...

I need a 2nd job!

Yeah it's great having lots of cool games to choose from until you look at the punishment your bank account is taking.

I played a 3DS XL briefly last night and my only thought is that 'I made the wrong decision'. Both units are retailing for the same price new. Due to a sale, the XL is actually $10 cheaper at Target. Is that the same in the US? Surely that's not sustainable and we're about to see a price drop for the 3DS.

In US:
3DS $169.99

3DS XL $199.99

Those are the MSRPs but it seems there's a major retail chain that has them discounted by $10-$20 at any given time. There's really no reason to buy one at full price.
