Thanks! I started my 2600 collection about a month ago, and I to date I have been collecting in "reverse". That is, I have acquired a lot of post-crash 2600 games from the late '80s (and early '90s!) and - other than the games that came with my system - almost no games from the late '70s and early '80s. I have games like Xenophobe, but titles like Defender and Warlords have so far eluded me.Hobie-wan wrote:Sweet, I'd love to give River Raid II a go some day.
In any event, I am happy to add River Raid II to my collection. Now, all I need to do is track down a copy of its much more common predecessor.
Finally, congrats to J_Wil on picking up Spy vs. Spy. I had the chance to pick up that game some time ago for $3. I passed, and it has eluded - and taunted - me ever since. (Also, Hots Shot Golf 3 is a GREAT game, and my roommates and I spent a lot of time with it in college. Crack that thing open - along with a case of beer - and spend a lazy Sunday afternoon enjoying it with a few friends (and a Jack Johnson album). You will not regret it.
