Re: Sonic Generations
so anyway, for those of you who have completed Sonic Generations -- how close am I to beating it? I killed the Egg Dragon boss, and it opened up a new area where my Chaos Emeralds were used to restore gears? But I only had four Chaos Emeralds (how are those earned in this game anyway?) and I think it said something about having to find Metal Sonic now?
Re: Sonic Generations
I get the limiting your choices thing, that's fine and I can respect your (tired) reasons for not wanting to do PC gaming right now. The only reason I brought it up was:

Yet you...noiseredux wrote:why you keep insisting on playing PC games is beyond me.

Re: Sonic Generations
Thanks for this, I am playing it now with my DualShock3 (just like you PS3 folks!) and having no problems at all. Such a pretty game, and I am surprised how much I am digging it. It feels really great to see a solid Sonic platformer againMrHealthy wrote:Get the Motion Joy drivers: http://www.motioninjoy.com/dsheinem wrote:I found documentation on it in Steam Forums. There's a workaround using a program that fools the game into thinking my logitech pad is a 360 pad, but when I tried to use it it didn't make a difference. I can't be arsed with it right now.
It sets up Dual Shock 3 controller use on PC. You can use bluetooth or USB. Then enable 360 controller emulation. It works flawlessly with all games that support the 360 controller. Aside from the button prompts of course. Its how I am playing the game though.

Oh no problem mate. The Motion Joy drivers are really a godsend, I use it all the time, so I had to share the love.dsheinem wrote:Thanks for this, I am playing it now with my DualShock3 (just like you PS3 folks!) and having no problems at all. Re: Sonic Generations
You only have the four required ones. Find Metal Sonic by Chemical Plant, Shadow by City Escape, and Silver by Crisis City and beat each of them. Each will give you an emerald. Use the remaining three to platform to the final gate, leading to the extremely lackluster final boss.noiseredux wrote:so anyway, for those of you who have completed Sonic Generations -- how close am I to beating it?
