+ NEW warioware.: mega party game$ (GCN) -- one thumb up
+ NEW face raiders (3DSware) -- one thumb uphm. i seem to have gotten behind again. here's the recap:
big brain academy: i was a big fan of
brain age, and this was a good complementary title with a distinct feel.
pokemon pearl: i'm starting to feel like pokemon is one of those "every other one is good" series. i was so bored with this that i really couldn't bring myself to finish it. have started to play B/W and can already tell that i'm going to enjoy that one way more.
tennis (NES): not as terrible as people who have only played it for a few minutes say, and on the lower levels is actually quite enjoyable. the higher levels are punishingly difficult, though, and require way too much memorization of the game's physics. old-school hard that just doesn't hold up today.
warioware.: mega party game$: as a solo-player game doesn't offer much new, but it was fun to revisit all the original microgames on a full screen. multiplayer is a bit of a mixed bag but could be fun with fellow WW enthusiasts.
face raiders: enjoyable, and as an AR game it makes good use of the 3DS's gyroscope. good amount of enemy variety, just the right length, and doesn't overstay its welcome.
