It seems more likely to me that all his films are one big joke about how he can get actors to do anything, and in 50 years he'll point at them all and laugh.

Oh good. Now I have something to add to my very short list of "Movies I don't think I ever need to see."BoneSnapDeez wrote:Looked up this Nymphomaniac movie on Wikipedia and a few things jumped out at me.

Glen Gary Glen Ross - still the quintessential sales movie.
Re: What was the last movie you've seen?
Sooo a Transformer, Sting from Dune and the Emperor. Way to go Spider-Man 2 reboot.

Philomena
Good movie, but a bit depressing. Judi Dench is sublime, as always, and Steve Coogan both contrasts and complements her well.
For something rated PG-13, I was a bit surprised by how much swearing there was in this movie. Not that that's really a complaint as I don't care either way, it was just something interesting I noted when I walked out of the theatre.

No. It's just...now that I've read some synopses my imagination filled in enough blanks with unsettling imagery that seeing the films themselves would only make it much, much worse.Hobie-wan wrote:Kids?Michi wrote:.....I see I'm going to need to revise my list.Ack wrote: Salo, Serbian Film, Violent Sh*t 3, Nazi Love Island, and now Nymphomaniac?
