Standard Atlus 3DS price for a while now, unfortunately. Atlus knows they are USA players' only hope of decent JRPGs on the 3DS, and they know they can make us bleed for them.

In case you haven't been reading any gaming news for the past month or two, Mortal Kombat X is coming out next week. Today they released the launch trailer.

Be warned, the trailer kind of has an AMV feel to it due to the choice of music. It is still worth watching though if you like MK.

I've got it preordered so expect another review in the Games Beaten thread before the end of next week.

As much as I want Mortal Kombat X, I know I might as well wait for the "Ultimate" version or whatever that will include all the inevitable DLC bundled with the GOTY version's fixes.

I admit it, I broke up laughing at the end of that. You're right, it looks like an AMV someone put together.

Turns out that someone was System of Down's bass player. I kid you not.

I'm interested in MKX, especially w/ the Jason and Predator character DLC's. But it's just way too much at launch, so I'll be waiting for decent sales.

Two of my most anticipated games got pushed out of this year:
-Uncharted 4
-Zelda WiiU
