Glad your on board. Welcome sir.
Mjmjr25 is the one that recommended the Agetek stick to me... and now I wish all of my shooters were on the Dreamcast

I'm curious, would this work with adapters to other consoles? For some reason, I don't think it will, but I'm hopefull anyways

Oh, and did Gunbird 2 arrive yet Noise?

Gunbird did arrive, but I haven't gotten or burned a boot disc yet. Truthfully, I've had a lot going on lately. I've barely touched the DC since I got it. But I tried out the Agetic using that unreleased game Drill. Good stuff. Just like I said, I've had very little time/energy for gaming this past week.

I thought it was only on the Neo Geo and Saturn?
Had a DC-J release as well as the SAT-J, Neo Geo AES/MVS/CD and also a PS2-J release, which is the most affordable version out there.

The PS2 version of Twinkle Star Sprites is hideous. They tried to do it polygon style and changed the character designs. :( Still plays great though. My only time playing it was at Otakon this past year.

Dreamcast version has the best sound and no lag, but I like the Saturn version best. Extra character, fan disc, anime opening, more characters to use in versus mode, etc. Terrible sound quality, unfortunately.
My B/S/T thread! :)

^ DC version has lots of slowdown, but you can disable it in the settings menu if I recall.

NGCD has awful load times and significant slowdown. Sat version is my fav. of the ones i've played, lots of additional stuff over the NG original.

Have not played the MVS or PS2 versions, so can't comment on their particulars.

Yea. I meant if you played in Dreamcast mode the DC version has zero slowdown. Not even on bombs. Saturn version in Saturn mode only lags on bombs.

PS2 version is a sequel. Plays the same. Looks ugly.

Have never played the NGCD or MVS versions. :(

In the massive game arena? Dang.
My scheduling skills have died of dysentery; I hope to visit at least on a monthly basis.
Still, don't forget to tip your waitress.

one thing that seems really nice about collecting for DC -- there's no shortage of CIB games. In fact, without trying, I've managed to get several SEALED games even. I even found a CIB keyboard for no more $ than a loose one.

I love my DC Agetec stick - love that the VMU slides right in and the stick is great.

Indeed, I got my Typing of the Dead, keyboard, and mouse all brand new.
