The End

You can see where my loyalties lie. Modern shooters aren't fun. I miss the Doom formula: Assaulted by legions of enemies, with no help but with some ridiculous firepower, and barely coming out alive. There was a game that got your adrenaline pumping. Man I miss that.

I bought metroid prime 1 and 2 for the gamecube but could never get into them because of the control sceme, I may have to go back to them. That and when I tried to get into number 1 I got stuck at some lava cavern that I couldn't get past and wound up just giving in.

The only way to deactivate the ray beam and fight back the vampire alien threat is with a complicated series of foot patterns on the device's control board that looks remarkably like a DDR pad. We will all praise this man for saving our lives and buy him a mountain of stuffed animals.

Have played few, and beaten. . . none. Here's my list anyway

Doom
Timesplitters
Goldeneye
Some james bond game for gamecube I enjoyed. There was a car level where you pick up items dropped by plane/helicopter.
Quake
Quake 3 arena (this is the dreamcast one right? I remember playing this with my friend on co op)

1. Quake 3 (PC) - This is the defacto standard.
2. Doom (PC) - A Guilty Pleasure
3. F.E.A.R. (PC) - It's just awesome
4. System Shock 2 (PC) - Holy crap epic
5. Aliens Vs Predator 2 (PC) - Spent waaaaay too much time with this
6. Deus Ex (PC) - Words cannot describe
7. Unreal Tournament (PC) - A massive time sink.
8. Killzone 2 (PS3) - Very uniquely awesome.
9. Thief Series (PC) - What more can I say.
10. Tron 2.0 (PC) - A must play.

Alternate #1 Freespace games (I know they aren't FPS games... but they are first person...)

As you can see I only play FPS's on PC's. I can't for the life of me figure out the controls with two sticks. The Mouse just feels better.

I didn't go through the entire thread because its so long. But this is directed to the OP. You owe it to yourself to play some more games on the PC. You are missing out on a great deal.
