i was also aware of the tag mode, but never really used it. i like to play NBA Jam arcade style, more challenging having a bad AI partner.

Good news! No need to buy Elite!

Now if only they would include all the Wii features in the PS3/360 version. And TAG mode.

At this point I am waiting on reviews to decide whether I want to pick up the Wii release next week. What about everyone else?

I was sold at PAX, so I'll be getting it at release. Also, for all the fans of hard copies, I think you're going to want the Wii version. I can't imagine EA releasing this on disc for the 360/PS3.

I agree. They already had plans to put it up on PSN/XBLA. So I'm sure they will just stick with that. But instead of it being an exclusive one-time download, it will be available to everybody for probably $15 (1200 msp).

That's it: there's no longer any reason to buy this game for the Wii. If I have to wait an extra month for the HD version, get all the features of the Wii version (minus waggle) and with multiplayer, then that is the version to get. I might get the Wii version in the bargain bin some day, but I have officially lost all interest in that particular port of the game.

Still no word on TAG mode though.... :?

This really pisses me off. They said back when it was announced that it was going to be a Wii exclusive. Now the PS3 and 360 have it, and have more features than the Wii version, and possibly for a lesser price.

For once, I thought that EA was going to be nice to Wii owners. Now it's clear that they just want to continue to shaft Nintendo as they've been doing since the N64.

EA never should have tried to make it a Wii exclusive from the start. That was just a bitch move on their part to sell more Wii's and try to bump up the sales of their dumbed-down sports titles on the Wii that nobody wants to buy - like Madden, Fifa and EA Active.

That pretty much guarantees that I'll be getting it for the 360 now. I was going to pick it up for the Wii this week, but whats the point now?

I am going to pick this game up tonight when I get home from work. I can't wait :) I was a huge fan of this game back on the snes.
Has anyone tried it out yet? I'm surprised it hasn't got more hype.
