End-Gen Games: To Buy or Not To Buy
Re: End-Gen Games: To Buy or Not To Buy
It's almost tempting, despite that I already own most of the games at least twice over...

Well I bought this when it came out as believe it or not I'm still half way through the twin snakes on the GameCube and thought it would be nice to pay the rest in HD. Haven't opened it yet, Im starting to think I shouldn't, especially as I have 2 and 3 on the PS2, unplayed ready to go..

And now it is gone. I am glad my wife got this for me last year for my birthday.isiolia wrote:Unless it gets restocked.Retrogamer0001 wrote: Honestly, I wouldn't wait to get it - it won't be around long enough for any kind of price drops, and has been already mentioned, prices are starting to get crazy on ebay. Even two months down the road this will likely be impossible to find in retail stores.

Has anyone got any end-of-life suggestions for the DS. I played a bunch of Thor, for example and I see there is an "Transformers - Ultimate Autobots Edition" bundle with the three movie-licensed titles packaged together, for what that's worth...
I feel like there was a bunch of GBA games released late in life that rocked hard! Any tips?

There are definitely a few notable end-of-life DS games. Wayforward, the developers of Thor, made another late release which was Aliens: Infestation.WARvault wrote:Has anyone got any end-of-life suggestions for the DS. Another Wayforward game and sort-of a late release is Batman: The Brave and the Bold.
Pokemon Conquest is a another late release game and one that I was surprised even made it to the western market. I think that one is destined to be forgotten if it isn't already.
Some others released after 3DS was already on the market:
- SMT: Devil Survivor 2 (being released on 3DS at some point)
Fossil Fighters: Champions
Zuma's Revenge
CoD: MW3 (n-space did excellent job with the CoD titles on DS)
Giana Sisters (most people don't even know this received a DS release)
DQM: Joker 2
Kirby Mass Attack
Okamiden

It quickly went from in stock, to 1-2 day wait, to a wait, to Amazon not having it listed from them (for $49.99).Hazerd wrote: Back in stock on April 15th.
I caved and ordered it, and their initial "should arrive on the 15th" turned into it shipping yesterday and being out for delivery today.
In the meantime, it has reappeared on Konami's web store. Technically, Target also lists it online for that price, but out of stock last I saw.

What's that smell?
Smells like discs being reprinted.
Either that or I stepped in poop.

I still need to get Giana Sisters. I found the C64 version to be quite enjoyable.FerretGamer wrote:

Kirby Mass Attack can be found for cheap right now. Time to scoop that shiz up. Same goes for Okamiden.
