MONSTERS U.
If I had a list of Pixar movies this would be right in the middle, which isn't too shabby at all. It's pretty great. I kept thinking before the film started "Is this necessary, and is Pixar just trying to cash in?".
Nope. Same characters, and new ones, but this is its own film.
The visuals and story are both great, and fans of Monsters Inc. will not be disappointed. Although it doesn't have the same emotional oomphhs that Inc. gave, it's still a well written and enjoyable film that exceeded my expectations.
WORLD WAR Z
I won't spoil the movie, but I will ruin it/make you laugh your ass off when you see it.
Think of
this in every zombie chase scene. It is soooo fitting I couldn't stop laughing thinking about it when stuff was supposed to get "real".
It goes from boring as picking out wallpaper (unless you are an interior decorator), and then to basically Left 4 Dead on the big screen. And just like most video game characters, they are sterile and you don't really care if they die or not. Safe bet that you won't care about anyone or anything that happens in the movie.
It's an empty film full of good looking people, tons of cgi, and zombies that could chase down the Roadrunner and climb the Great Wall of China.
