What was the last movie you've seen?

Hmm... Let me add that to the list of things to never say to my girlfriend...
I love Anchorman and was excited for this, but that trailer doesn't bring the funny at all :(
What?

"I like the parts of your face that's covered with skin."

"Oh, it was my hand."

"HE SAID YOU'RE NOT THAT GREAT!"

Good stuff!

MONSTERS U.

If I had a list of Pixar movies this would be right in the middle, which isn't too shabby at all. It's pretty great. I kept thinking before the film started "Is this necessary, and is Pixar just trying to cash in?".

Nope. Same characters, and new ones, but this is its own film.

The visuals and story are both great, and fans of Monsters Inc. will not be disappointed. Although it doesn't have the same emotional oomphhs that Inc. gave, it's still a well written and enjoyable film that exceeded my expectations.

WORLD WAR Z

I won't spoil the movie, but I will ruin it/make you laugh your ass off when you see it.

Think of this in every zombie chase scene. It is soooo fitting I couldn't stop laughing thinking about it when stuff was supposed to get "real".

It goes from boring as picking out wallpaper (unless you are an interior decorator), and then to basically Left 4 Dead on the big screen. And just like most video game characters, they are sterile and you don't really care if they die or not. Safe bet that you won't care about anyone or anything that happens in the movie.

It's an empty film full of good looking people, tons of cgi, and zombies that could chase down the Roadrunner and climb the Great Wall of China.

I also saw World War Z last night, and I also thought it was boring and terrible. Don't waste your time.

Monsters Inc is my least favorite Pixar film, easily. Is this one better? With a three year old, i pretty much have to see it anyway.

I guess I should add it to my must-see list then.

The only way I can wrap my head around this is that you've only see three Pixar films: Finding Nemo, WALL-E, and Monsters Inc. And even then I disagree with your ranking.

I've seen every Pixar film with the exception of the Cars films (I've seen parts of those only). Wall-E is one of their best, and Finding Nemo is middle of the pack with stuff like The Incredibles or Brave (all of which are excellent).

Saw Man of Steel last weekend. I thought it was fantastic. I am going to see it again tomorrow.

I thought it was a refreshing take on Superman and actually a surprisingly good science fiction movie. The critics are wrong about this one, IMO. Snyder's best film.
