No one has to do anything I suggest in regards to their list. They are simply suggestions...

I look forward to Ack finding out how overrated CT is. No blue text.

To make you feel better, the SNES version is not as difficult as the PC one. But they added seven more stages, and boss fights. And since I know how much you love platformers... Have fun!

Truthfully, the game becomes infinitely easier once you figure out the rhythm to sword fighting. So I suggest learning that early on. It still wont make hell fun.

None needed. CT is good, but it is indeed overrated.

The Hell comment was not a metaphor:

Have fun in Stage 10

I must protest!

Nectaris: Military Madness (PS1) is an upgraded version of Military Madness (TG16), and it includes an entirely new campaign in addition to all of the maps from the TG16 original. Military Madness (TG16) was listed as the 48th greatest game of all time in EGM #100, and it was listed as the 163rd greatest game of its time in EGM #200.

Decathlete (SAT) was listed as the 95th greatest game of all time in EGM #100, and it was listed as the 100th greatest game of all time in EGM #150.

Accordingly, I both games were highly regarded and could very well be deemed "classics" at this point.

I have made serious attempts at every game on my list in the past, and I just have not made it through any of them. (I am trying to play through every game listed among the the "greatest" in EGM 100, 150, and 200.) I can assure you...at least half of the games on my list are going to require a serious push!

Military Madness is highly regarded by me.

Also, with regard to Actraiser and Axelay, I will point out that both games are listed among the greatest games of all time in EGM 100, and Actraiser is also listed in EGM 150. (Neither of them made the list in EGM 200.) I will also point out that both of them are really fun (and that neither of them are very difficult).

Also - after a few changes and in light of the Together RPG choice - here is my final list for 2013:

1. Hotel Dusk Room: Room 215 (DS)
2. Ecco the Dolphin (GBA port)
3. Wario Land 3 (GBC)
4. Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door (GC)
5. Shining Force II (GEN)
6. Nectaris: Military Madness (PS1)
7. Return Fire (PS1 port)
8. Guardian Heroes (SS)
9. Galactic Attack (SS)
10. Decathlete (SS)
