You could buy a prepaid debit card from a large number of stores. You pay x amount in cash (or maybe x + y), and get a debit card that has x loaded on it already, that you can use anywhere like a credit card.
Although, I'm not sure why you wouldn't want to use your credit card online (especially at amazon) This isn't like the mid 90's where the internet was the wild west. Amazon isn't going to scam you or anything like that.
