I swear I'm not picking on you and I know that was originally a PSP game, but that blur layer on that looks terrible. It's like someone had a sneezing fit on the camera lens and then just kept going without cleaning it. Surely it would look nicer without it.dsheinem wrote:Some screens from the first hour or so of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD:

I'm not even talking about the stuff with the models and textures. I'm talking about the whole screen having a hazy smear over it. Like the old pantyhose trick, but overdone. Also not very appropriate for something you're going to be looking at for long periods of time as opposed to a still photo or a scene or two in a movie. I wouldn't be able to stare at that game for long as it would bug the crap out of me. Making something "HD" and then immediately blurring everything defeats the purpose.dsheinem wrote:Hobie-wan wrote:I swear I'm not picking on you and I know that was originally a PSP game, but that blur layer on that looks terrible. Yeah, visually it is very strange. You can tell where they did some stuff that isn't possible on the PSP for the HD port, you can see some stuff that looks blurred or not-so-well "enhanced" and then there's stuff that just looks like PSP graphics. Very odd.
Meh, they aren't so bad thus far. Do you have an aversion to buckles?BoneSnapDeez wrote:The character designs is what makes me cringe.
