Saw Earth last night. Absolutely amazing, got to meet Dylan Carlson after the show too.

Well I guess I will keep this thread going. Even if I do talk to myself :D

I just got back from Days of the New!! Great 100 minute long set tonight. I had the pleasure of seeing them back in 2000 also. I have been waiting to see them again ever since the last time. I almost thought it was gonna get cancelled the show the night before did.

I also made a trip to Dallas for NIN and Soundgarden. That show was also very, very fun and very, very expensive. :D

Saw Soundgarden a few weeks ago, one of my favorites that I'd never seen live. My expectations were low though because Cornell's voice has sounded super rough in recent years. But they were freaking awesome, one of the best shows I've seen in forever. Cornell did sound iffy in spots but was dead-on key the entire show. They even did Jesus Christ Pose and Slaves and Bulldozers which was super impressive. I also saw Kim Thayil crack a smile a couple times!

I went to an REO Speedwagon concert when I was like 14. Cheap Trick opened for them. Besides some local bands, and Creed when they were a local band that is all I've been to.

My wife has immediate family who are/were lead singers in some punk bands that are relatively well known. I've seen private performances that way. I won't name drop though for privacy reasons.

Well it appears I saw what might have been last full Days of the New concert.

They broke up in Saint Louis on Saturday during the show. Here is an article although part of it is wrong, it states they were a no show the night before but it was actually Thursday's show in Columbia that was cancelled.

Never been into that band, but saw the Intervention episode with Meeks on it. Dude was in a bad way, and it sounds like he's fallen back down again. Hope he can get better for himself and his fans.

@SNES Drunk

I am guessing you seen them open for NIN also? Where did you happen to see them at and did you get Pretty Noose? I was so hopping for that one, it seems Houston got it the night before Dallas.
