Ah, I forgot about Bayonetta 2. I'll be shocked if that stays exclusive, but it may potentially draw my interest if it is a stronger title with better combat than the first.Opa Opa wrote:Other than that new Bayonetta (if it stays exclusive) there isn't anything else I can think of off the top of my head.dsheinem wrote:Thus, my question: what is a third party game coming to the WiiU (sometime this year, perhaps) that I won't be able to get elsewhere?
I'm more out to get the new PS4 at this point. Final Fantasy, eventual Metal Gear games, Bungie's new game, plus all the stuff I already have from the store. PS4 is looking good so far.
edit: I'd get a Wii U if DQ X were released, though. It looks pretty fun.
I think I just need to see that there will be 6-10 games (beyond Nintendo IPs) coming out each year that have to be played on the Wii U in order for me to want to get one. Right now I can think of 0 games coming up that I have HIGH interest in for the system, only 2-3 games that have already released that I have some mild interest in, and at most 2-3 games announced that I am even somewhat curious about (e.g. Bayonetta 2). I know there have been Nintendo Direct presentations of upcoming stuff, so maybe I am just missing something?
If it helps, I do quite like the Wii - here's a snapshot of my collection - which is primarily filled with exclusives, only maybe 25% of which are first party. I don't see that kind of support lined up yet for the Wii U
