Other than that new Bayonetta (if it stays exclusive) there isn't anything else I can think of off the top of my head.

I'm more out to get the new PS4 at this point. Final Fantasy, eventual Metal Gear games, Bungie's new game, plus all the stuff I already have from the store. PS4 is looking good so far.

edit: I'd get a Wii U if DQ X were released, though. It looks pretty fun.
Ah, I forgot about Bayonetta 2. I'll be shocked if that stays exclusive, but it may potentially draw my interest if it is a stronger title with better combat than the first.

I think I just need to see that there will be 6-10 games (beyond Nintendo IPs) coming out each year that have to be played on the Wii U in order for me to want to get one. Right now I can think of 0 games coming up that I have HIGH interest in for the system, only 2-3 games that have already released that I have some mild interest in, and at most 2-3 games announced that I am even somewhat curious about (e.g. Bayonetta 2). I know there have been Nintendo Direct presentations of upcoming stuff, so maybe I am just missing something?

If it helps, I do quite like the Wii - here's a snapshot of my collection - which is primarily filled with exclusives, only maybe 25% of which are first party. I don't see that kind of support lined up yet for the Wii U :(

Bayonetta 2 is being published by Nintendo themselves, though. I wouldn't be surprised at all if it stayed exclusive because of that.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate for home consoles (also coming to 3DS). SMT X Fire Emblem and the Xenoblade successor perhaps as well, though those may be farther off.

Though I agree, PS4 is looking a lot more appealing to me. Suspicions about a repeat of last-gen's power gap seem pretty accurate, and Sony is being ambitious with their infrastructure as well.

I was pretty underwhelmed by the PS4 announcement. On the plus side, Sony is being smart and giving the system a large amount of very fast ram, and I'd be lying if I said that new Killzone trailer wasn't just plain cool.

Very excited for the PS4. Might just sell my Wii U that is just a dust collector anyway.

^ If it weren't for Monster Hunter in a short month I'd probably start toying with the idea of selling my WiiU as well.

We'll see, I think going forward things will be much better for the WiiU.

If anybody remembers the 360 launch, it wasn't exactly fantastic for the first year either.

I'd amend it as such: "If anybody remembers any Nintendo launch starting with the N64, it wasn't exactly fantastic for the first year either."

I can't think of many consoles that were great in the first year.. Besides two of my favorites that are VERY underrated. Vita and Dreamcast. :P

To be honest, I generally end up regretting every Nintendo console I buy. And I buy them all. Main reason probably is that I am not into most 1st party Nintendo franchises. So where does that leave me? Generally with very few options, haha. Yet I still continue.

SNES had alot of great titles in 1991 for the NA release

F-Zero
Final Fantasy IV
Final Fight
Gradius III
Darius Twin
ActRaiser
Pilotwings
SimCity
Super Castlevania IV
Super Ghouls N Ghosts
Super Mario World
Super R-Type
U.N. Squadron

Now only if Modern consoles could even have a chance against that line-up!
